It is the same car door to door. Whether you stay in it for Macau entry depends on your passport: nationals of Macau visa-free countries may stay in the car with a valid passport; anyone who needs a Macau visa or an Entry Permit clears at the arrival hall or the Clearance Hall for On-board Passengers, then rejoins the car. Does an Uber Intercity trip have to be reserved ahead?
Uber says these Hong Kong–Macau trips must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance, and up to 90 days ahead. Mayline usually confirms within about 5 minutes when the pickup is inside 3 days, and guarantees a car when the pickup is at least 3 days away.
